This is also known as “Where in The World are North and South?”
East and West finally get back on track as they talk about the whereabouts of their fellow Superheroes. Their supposed enemy is currently still being thoroughly ignored though. With the way these 2 carry on talking, it’s as if it’s just the 2 of them and there’s no one else around.
Needless to say, said Evil Enemy is currently gaping and seems to be unable to decide on whether to be pissed off at being ignored or amused at what was going on.
“Right, where was I? I know I was totally talking about something awesome and heroic, ‘cause, well, duh, I’m a ‘super special awesome’ Superhero. This just comes naturally to me. Oh yeah, where’s South and North? They’re still not here?”
“I must say, it is odd that those 2 didn’t show up. They should be here by now. Perhaps, something has happened.”
“Pfft. Yeah, they’re probably busy arguing or playing chess or something. Uff, those 2 are ‘missing the call’ even though the call totally knows where they live and should have left them a message. Or they’re probably ignoring it or rejecting it or something. Or, like, I dunno. But whatever it is, they’re totally missing-”
“This dire threat to The World and its Citizens. Yes, you said that already or something to that effect anyway. I do not see any reason why you must repeat this all over again, Cattleya.”
*Notes:
- This is part 7 of The Adventures Of The World’s Superheroes series, a story told in several short posts
- Part 6
- Image with added text was modified by Freya Yuki (CC:BY-SA) based on the image by MizuSasori (CC:BY-SA) from deviantArt
- Cellphone in the image is meant to symbolize the call mentioned in the story
- YouTube video features the English version of the song Blaze, from the anime Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, as sung by Shadowlink4321 (Daniel Alvarez); song was chosen because the lyrics speaks of regaining, discovering, recovering what was lost, etc, which can be likened to how West and East are wondering where South and North are
Why Would North And South Want To Miss The Call?
