Why Do You Have To Keep Interfering?

Monday, August 29, 2016
Of course, East and West are still talking. Really, what did you expect? Both of them are getting really angry, you know? What do you think is gonna happen now? Let’s see, shall we?

“And I suppose that you will be helping the Clubs King stop the Spades King then?” East asks in response to West’s words in the previous post.

Needless to say, East does not look pleased and you don’t need to see the frown on the eastern Superhero’s face to be able to know that.

“Yeah, that’s totally right.” West nods passionately and enthusiastically. “What, you gonna try and stop me?” The western Superhero growls, directing a glare at East.

“Indeed. If I have to. Though I do not wish to fight with you, Vermilion. You really should not interfere in things that do not concern you.” East sighs, trying to stay calm, but the tension between the two is undoubtedly rising.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” It’s unclear if West is confused due to not knowing what 'vermilion' is or because of the rest of East’s words. Perhaps it’s both. “Of course this concerns me. What’s happening is-” West starts to say before East interjects and interrupts.

Why The Spades King Needs To Be Stopped?

Friday, August 26, 2016
Ooh, wonder what the Spades King did? Why is West so mad at this guy? Why is East siding with this guy? Who’s right? Who’s wrong? Well, who knows? But, it doesn’t look like the 2 Superheroes will be talking about that anytime soon. They might if they don’t get sidetracked or distracted, but that’s highly unlikely.

East frowns in response to West’s last words in the previous post. “I am helping the Spades King because he is right and he has not done anything wrong.”

“Lies. That’s all lies and you know it,” West shot back.

“You should not listen to the Spades King’s opponents, Raspberry. They are lying to you and yet you believe all their false words.” East’s eyes narrowed.

“Right back at ya, East. And I told you to quit it with the nicknames. Uff, I’m not a raspberry, so don’t call me that. You’re absolutely, totally, completely, super horrible,” West says.

“And so is the Spades King. He’s totally completely terrorizing the neighboring kingdoms near him. He needs to be stopped,” the western Superhero says in a firm tone of voice.

Why Are You Helping Him?

Tuesday, August 23, 2016
Also known as, "Who knows what Cerise is?"

Previously, in this series, East and West are busy talking in one of the many rooms in East’s Winter Palace. And we find out that something’s been going on in the Spades Kingdom and the Diamonds Kingdom, but we don’t know exactly what’s been happening over there. Not yet anyway.

Let’s see what more we can find out from the 2 Superheroes:

“It sounds like you are blaming me for what has happened, Cerise,” East says with a frown. “I do not think you know what you are talking about.”

“Don’t call me that, whatever that is,” West shouts, momentarily looking confused. “I know exactly what I’m talking about, East.”

“This is all the Spades King’s fault,” West says in an accusing tone of voice. “And, since you’re siding with him, then it’s your fault too. You should have been trying ta stop him, not help him. Why are you helping him?” West asks. “Uff, that’s just totally completely wrong and not ‘super special awesome’ at all.”

How The Narrator Tries To Annoy You?

Saturday, August 20, 2016
Also known as, "I know something you don't".

What, thought explanations were going to be had already and you’ll finally find out what’s really going on? Yeah, right. Eh, hate to break it to ya (actually, no, I’m quite pleased to tell you), that ain’t gonna happen anytime soon. Oh, but you will find out what’s going on. Eventually. But not now.

Well, let’s see what we can find out in this post then. When we last left our Superheroes, they were in East’s Winter Palace.

East was still smiling, even after hearing what West wanted to talk about, though it seemed cold somehow, like the smile was frozen on the eastern Superhero’s face.

“Ah, that. I suspected that might be the reason why you came here, Caramel, though I had hoped it was because you wish to, how you say, ‘hang out together.’”

West was still glaring. “Don’t call me 'Caramel'. Maybe we’d be able to do that if none of this had happened, if you hadn’t sided with the Spades King and if you weren’t helping the bad guys.

“You’re supposed to be a Superhero, East. You’re supposed to be on the side of the good. How could you do this?” West demanded.

Why Are You Here?

Wednesday, August 17, 2016
Also known as, "Meanwhile, I'm in your Winter Palace, breaking down your door".

Don’t you think it’s about time we go see what East and West are up to and find out what’s been going on with them? Yeah, thought so too. Right then, to the Winter Palace, East’s domain or place of residence located somewhere in the eastern side of The World (it may or may not be floating up in the sky).

West kicks a door open with such force and power that it slams against the wall with a loud bang, practically falling off its hinges.

Perhaps the only reason it hasn’t fallen apart yet is because it was made using otherworldly materials. That, and West probably didn’t use that much force.

“East!” the western Superhero shouts, sounding furious, lips curled into a growl and eyes flashing in anger.

East calmly looks up, smiling brightly at West. “Welcome to my Winter Palace, Cinnamon. It’s not that I’m not glad to see you here, but I must ask, what brings you to my abode?” East asks.

“I was not aware that we were having a Superhero Meeting here and you did not say that you were going to visit.”

West growls, glaring, “Don’t call me 'Cinnamon,' East. I’ve no time for your lousy nicknames. I’m here to talk about what’s going on between the Spades Kingdom and the Diamonds Kingdom.”

How To Prevent A World War?

Sunday, August 14, 2016
Also known as, "I'm not blushing, okay?"

Previously, in this series, North and South want to prevent a World War and try and fix whatever’s going on between East and West and some of the eastern and western kingdoms that are near the Visible Demarcation Line. But they have no idea what to do and they can’t interfere, so, what now? Let’s find out:

“We can’t interfere because those places are not part of our jurisdiction. We can’t interfere until East and West ask for our help though it doesn’t seem like that’s going to happen anytime soon. If we try to interfere, we’ll no doubt just end up aggravating matters further,” North points out.

South ponders this for a moment. They had to do something. There had to be something that they could do. “We should go talk to West and East. Let’s find out what’s really going on from them and then try to sort things out,” South eventually says.

“We can try to help them get along again and work together to help fix whatever the eastern and western kingdoms involved in the matter are arguing about.

"If we can get East and West to help each other, it should go a long way in preventing a World War.”

“Splendid idea,” North says with a smile. “But I’d expect nothing else from my dear South.”

South would like you to know that no one in the room is blushing. “Ugh, stop it and don’t call me ‘dear’. Swear, you’re impossible. Let’s just go already.”

North laughs. “Of course, my dear.”

How To Fix A Problem?

Thursday, August 11, 2016
Also known as, "Is there no way to fix this problem?"

Previously, we learned a bit more about the Superheroes and The World and how things work there. We know there’s a problem and where this problem is situated, but we still don’t know all the exact details. It seems even North and South don’t know the full story.

superheroes series, adventure, fantasy, story, writing, video game, psp, Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom
What are they going to do about that? How will they try to fix the problem if they don’t even know exactly what’s going on and if they don’t have all the specific details?

“Ugh. North, we have to do something,” South practically orders. “Seriously, we can’t just sit around and not do anything.”

“Swear, things will no doubt get worse otherwise. We have to try and fix things before there’s a World War,” South says, sounding very concerned and worried.

North nods. “I agree completely, my dear South, but what will you have us do? What can we do? Do you think there’s anything at all that we can do to address this issue, to fix this problem? We can’t just go to the western and eastern Kingdoms involved in this matter.”

What Is A Superhero's Job?

Monday, August 08, 2016
Also known as, "In which there is a job description".

Why, yes, North and South are still busy talking, and, no, we still don’t know exactly what’s going on between East and West and some of the kingdoms that are located near the borders of the Visible Demarcation Line.

superheroes series, adventure, fantasy, writing, story, sword art online, anime, manga, video game
But, don’t worry, we’re about to find out more as North does an ‘as you know’ type of exposition in response to South’s words in the previous post about wistful thinking.

“Our job as Superheroes is to protect The World from all kinds of danger. But it’s also part of our job to take care of the Citizens of The World,” North says.

“And those that belong in what we consider our side or our part of The World, well, those sides are near and dear to us. It’s natural for us to be protective of our kingdoms and our people.” There was an emphasis on ‘our’ that South had no trouble hearing.

“You didn’t need to give me a lesson on that, North. Seriously, I know all that already.” South sighs, smiling sadly. “I know that if there’s trouble in the southern side of The World, my side, I’d be there too and I’d want to try and fix it and I’d be protective of it too and I wouldn’t want you lot to interfere unless I ask for your help,” South says.

“I know all that. But I guess I just needed to be reminded of it. Ugh, it’s too bad that we can’t not get involved in the affairs of our Citizens.”

Do You Really Need To Start A World War Over This?

Friday, August 05, 2016
Also known as, "In which there are talks of impossible wishes".

Previously, in this series, we ended on a rather gloomy note while still not knowing much at all. Well, at least, we now know that The World is actually divided into 4 equal parts and the mark of this division is known as the Visible Demarcation Line. Let’s see what else we can find out in this part as North and South continue their conversation.

superheroes series, adventure, fantasy, writing, story, sword art online, manga, anime, video games
South sighs yet again. “Argh, it would be so much better and easier if West and East didn’t have to get involved in this and just let the Citizens of The World take care of this problem.” This was said in a rather wistful tone of voice.

“The people might get into a war, but it wouldn’t be as explosive or as deadly and destructive without the help of Superheroes with immense magical abilities and super powers,” South says.

“Seriously, instead of joining the fighting, those two could be trying to settle things in a diplomatic, peaceful and amicable way instead,” the southern Superhero points out.

North smiles sadly at that. “A very nice thought, my dear South, but you know as well as I do that that isn’t possible at all.”

How To Reassure Someone?

Tuesday, August 02, 2016
Also known as, "In which South worries some more".

Okay, so we still don’t know exactly what is going on with regards to why East and West are having a Lover’s Quarrel, but, hey, at least we know a bit more than we initially did. Let's continue, shall we?

Previously, in this series, North attempts to reassure South who is worried about what’s been going on. Let’s see if South feels reassured.

Nope, South is not the least bit reassured. “How can I not worry?” The Superhero asks. “East and West are really mad at each other. I swear, they’re both so angry and utterly pissed off. I’m worried they might start a physical fight, which could lead to a World War.”

superheroes series, adventure, fantasy, writing, story, sword art online, anime, video games, manga
South sighs. “It doesn’t help at all that some of the Kingdoms in the eastern and western side of The World also seem poised for war, what with the continuously rising tensions over there.”

“Unfortunately, my dear,” North says. “But, thankfully, this is only the case in the Kingdoms that are nearest the Visible Demarcation Line that separates the rest of The World into 4 equal parts.”

“For now,” South says, rather gloomily. “With the way things are going, which is seriously not well at all, ugh, the other Kingdoms in the eastern and western side of The World might soon get caught up in this mess too.”

North remains silent, frowning, not having a response to South’s words. The northern Superhero would have wanted to reassure South, but what could be said about those gloomy words anyway?
