“I’m here. I exist. I’m alive. I’m not invisible. Can’t you see me? Can’t you hear me?” she cries out.
But no one is paying attention to her. They’re all busy living their perfect, happy lives. They don’t see anything else and they don’t care about anyone else.
She walks around, her smile shaky and wavering, as she searches for someone who could see her, who would listen to her, who would speak to her, who would reassure her that, yes, she was not invisible. She found no one that fit that description.
She smiled at pretty much everyone she came across, but they either ignore her, don’t see her or are just too caught up in their own world to bother with someone they don’t even know.
Her smile was slowly turning into a frown and her eyes became blurry. As tears fell down her face (she couldn’t have stopped it even if she tried), she thinks to herself, what was so wrong with what she wanted? She just didn’t want to be invisible anymore. She just wanted to be seen and heard and noticed. Is that so bad?
The winds blew, ruffling her hair and clothes, but she ignored this in favor of looking up at the dark, dark night sky. No light greeted her, only endless darkness and blackness. And she was lost in its swirling depths, feeling empty and cold and frozen and more alone and invisible than ever.

The most beautiful moment is when someone sees you while you are invisible.

Yes, it would be really nice if someone who is invisible and largely ignored and overlooked can be noticed by other people, if there are those who can see the fake smiles in other people and notice that someone is feeling down and sad or that someone feels alone.
But it's unfortunate that this doesn't always happen and there are many who still remain invisible and very lonely as people around them ignore them and overlook them and don't seem to see how hurt they feel or how they wish they weren't invisible anymore.
